Big Cowboy Slug Catcher

SES is an industry leader in onsite slug catcher fabrication. Big Cowboy Slug Catcher, built in South Texas, proved the value of our 3-D modeling capabilities by catching a placement error before construction started, preventing any additional cost to the client. The slug catcher is 342’ long, equipped with a 42” discharge header, a 36” liquid discharge header, and a 24” inlet header. The design also included compressor installation and a 60,000 gallon high pressure bullet tank. Headers were field fabricated and set in place as a unit with field-fabricated fingers in 160’ lengths and lifted onto the racks.
