SES completed construction of the Gettysburg Energy & Nutrient Recovery Facility in Gettysburg, PA. This plant processed manure from 5 million egg layer chickens to produce 3.25 megawatts of renewable energy and recycled over 25 million pounds of recovered minerals annually. The facility used a proprietary gasification technology to produce synthesis gas that is combusted to create thermal energy for power generation.
